Blessing of the Fleet Race Info
Everything you ever wanted to know about the Blessing of the Fleet 10 Mile Road race, and quite possibly more…
Please read through this page and also consult the Narragansett Lions official race page before calling the store with questions.
Packet Pickup:
You may pick up your bib at the following times and locations. Outside of these timeframes, you may not pick them up. We aren’t saying that because we are mean, but simply because we don’t have them! The timing company has the bibs outside of the bib pickup times, not Wakefield Running Company and not the Narragansett Lions Club.
There are 4 opportunities to pick up your bib.
Wednesday, July 15th: 4-7pm at Wakefield Running Company
Saturday, July 18th: 8-12pm at Narragansett Pier Middle School cafeteria
235 South Pier Rd, Narragansett RI
Wednesday, July 22: 4-7pm at Wakefield Running Company
Friday (RACE DAY) Final Pickup:Narragansett Pier Middle School, Friday race day, 3pm until race start at Narragansett Pier Middle School
RACE DAY TIPS:
There is a healthy population of poison ivy in the woods along the race course. Please be careful if you step off the road.
This one is for the runners! If you feel the need to walk, please look around, and pull off to the side of the road. Stopping abruptly in the middle of a pack will not earn you any popularity points 🙂
Portapotties:
You will find port-a-potties at the Black Point parking area, Scarlborough Beach Pavilion, and at the top of Kinney, just after you turn off of Route 108.
Waterstops:
There are waterstops as indicated on the map below.
